Yale British Art Center
The following work was produced by students in “Exhibitionism”, a graduate seminar at Yale School of Architecture for graduate students in architecture and art history that situates recent initiatives to make art museums more diverse and inclusive within a socio-historical context. The class maps the intertwined histories of art and museum architecture from the 16th century to today, to consider the spatial implications of issues like identity politics (race, gender, disability), embodiment, multi-sensory experience, technology, climate change, and alternative futures.
