Gallaudet University's JSAC Inclusive Restrooms on JSA Website
In 2022, Gallaudet University, a university for the deaf and hard of hearing in Washington, DC, commissioned JSA/MIXdesign to transform existing sex-segregated restrooms on the upper and lower floors of the Jordan Student Academic Center (JSAC) into a multi-user facility that is accessible and welcoming for Gallaudet’s diverse community. Joel Sanders delivers Keynote at Oslo Architecture Triennale
On September 24th, JSA/MIXdesign Principal Joel Sanders delivered a keynote lecture as part of The National Museum of Art in Norway's contribution to the 2022 Oslo Architecture Triennale. His lecture, which covered the evolution of his thinking from the 1996 publication of Stud up to the launch of MIXdesign's Stalled! initiative, can be viewed here.
