STALLED! AT COOPER HEWITT MUSEUM
For the exhibition “Designing Peace” at the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum, located in New York City, MIXdesign applied Stalled! principles to reimagine Cooper Hewitt’s ground floor restrooms to create a Wellness Hub which addresses the self-care needs of the museum’s diverse visitors. It is divided into overlapping zones—Welcome, Wet, and Lounge—that generate dynamic relationships with the museum’s adjacent public spaces, a Design Studio and the Lecture Room.
The exhibition is on view through Sunday, August 6 2023.
